12x Bird's Custard Pods (3 Packs of 4 Pods) Concentrated Custard Sauce. Ready to make custard pods. Make super smooth, no lumps custard every time. Just add milk. Make it your way - can use skimmed, semi-skimmed, whole, coconut, soya or almond milks. Low fat and vegan. Make as sweet as you like. 12 Single portions. 100% natural flavours. Bird's Custard Pods allow you to make super smooth, no lumps custard every time. Easy to use - each pod contains concentrated custard roux which melts evenly into hot milk. Can be made using skimmed, semi-skimmed, whole, coconut, soya or almond milk. Vary the milk quantity for your desired consistency. Add more or less sugar to suit your taste.

Directions Hob
1. Add 1/4 pint of milk, 1/2 tbsp of sugar and a custard pod to a saucepan and heat on medium.
2. Stir with a spoon or whisk to melt the custard pod, once melted increase heat to medium/high and heat, stirring continuously until gently boiling and thickened.

Directions Microwave
1. Add 1/4 pint of milk and 1/2 tbsp of sugar to a jug and heat in an 800W microwave for 1 minute.
2. Add the custard pod and whisk vigorously with a fork until dissolved, reheat in the microwave for a further 1 minute until thickened. Use skimmed, semi-skimmed, whole, coconut, soya or almond milk.
